Small Apollo Belvedere Library Bust

The famous figure from which this bust was taken now resides in the Pio Clementino Museum of the Vatican. It is actually a Roman copy of a Greek bronze original that was created between 350-325BC. It was rediscovered in the late 15th century and was placed in 1511 in the Belvedere courtyard of the Vatican.
